When it was time to roll up our sleeves and get to work, we stuck our head in the sand and partied like college kids from a different time. We now export our plague to other places in the world where US Soldiers are stationed. The Commander in Chief doesn't care, why should the rank and file infantry man?
Cooperation has become un-American. Even basic childlike things, like wearing a mask in a pandemic, is too much to ask of our malevolent, ignorant, racist and sexist compatriots.
We are at the end; there are two paths from the present. In 20 years the USA might be in the history books, schismed by extremists magical thinkers who mock living in a fact based reality. If Trump wins, so does Racism, Sexism, Poverty, Ignorance, Magical Thinking and most dreadfully, Fascism.
A woman's right to choose, the dignity of minorities, the potential for dignity in hegemony, and our children's lives are at stake.
Trump wants to send your children to school. There is no money invested to make them safe. Your children are at risk, and subsequently, so is every parent. None of this is done for the benefit of the community.
All this human sacrifice is for the benefit one awful man. Incompetent beyond measure, immoral and narcissistic, President Trump has showed how truly weak America is. We are a paper Dragon. When its time to work, we fantasize our problems will go away.
